First School on Computational Cell Biology

"The role of stochasticity in the modelling and simulation of biological processes"

University of Urbino "Carlo Bo", 5th Centenary of foundation

November 7-8-9, 2005

Aims and Scopes

The school is addressed to students and researchers either with an applied mathematics, computer science or engineering background who are interested in cell biology applications or to cellular biologists and biochemists who wish to gain new quantitative insights.
In particular, it will focus on ways in which stochasticity occurs in the modelling and simulation of biological processes, particularly within the cell.
